Witness Testifies That Spector Said All Women 'Deserve a Bullet'

After a week's recess, the Phil Spector murder trial has resumed, losing not even an ounce of shock value in the interim. Judge Larry Paul Fidler allowed Vincent Tannazzo, who in the '90s was employed as a security officer for comedian Joan Rivers, to testify that at a Christmas party held by Rivers in New York at the time, he heard Spector exclaim that women "all deserve a bullet in their heads," with the legendary producer employing an anatomically oriented slur against women. As shocking as that account is, what's more shocking is that Spector somehow got on the invite list for Rivers' next Christmas party (must be his killer egg nog recipe). According to further testimony, Tannazzzo says the record mogul, upon seeing a woman exit an elevator, gave a repeat performance of his special Yuletide carol from the previous year, saying, "I'm gonna put a bullet in her head."
A reminder: Spector is on trial for the murder of b-movie actress Lana Clarkson, who was found in Spector's mansion with -- let's say it together -- a bullet in her head.
The Spinner Spector Detector also notes:
- Michelle Phillips, former member of the Mamas and the Papas, and mama of Chynna (but not to blame for Chynna's sisters Mackenzie and Bijou), says she is also a member of that exclusive yet ever-increasing club made up of celebrities who have had a firearm pointed at them by Spector. Phillips had offered her testimony to the L.A. district attorney, but her offer arrived too late to be included on the witness list.
- Similar to when a criminal defendant suddenly appears in court sporting a spiffy pair of nerdtastic eyeglasses, Spector spent his week away from court wisely, sending out his coiffure to be scientifically re-engineered to achieve that hard-to-attain "what-me-kill-a-woman?" look. A tip of the hair extensions goes out to Wanda's Wig World in Tarzana for Phil's new hair-i-didn't. Nonetheless, Spinner Spector Detector finds him guilty -- of looking fab-uuuu-lous!

Do ya get the impression that this "man" hates women? I'd about swear he's as guilty as sin, but HOW did the victim get the gunpowder on her hands? This is a strange, tough case to say the least though IMO, I believe he'll be found guilty - and somehow I believe rightfully so. The testimony is getting more and more bizarre and more and more sooo much NOT in Spector's favor.
