Good God, people, Amy Lee and Hayley are not that talented, and they don't even play instruments. They're just cater to the whiny emo crowd who looks for little more than pretty hair in a musician.

REAL girl musicians are bands like Bikini Kill, L7, and Team Dresch. Oh, and then there's the girl from Hazel and Brody Dalle, of course.

The list is okay. People's suggestions are worse.

To change the subject; a couple of weeks ago there was a list: Top ten NEW female vocalists of 2008. Then a link to same for 2007. I listened to some cuts & wanted to hear more later but I neglected to write them down & now can't find it. Can anyone help?

WHERE IS PARAMORE??? HAYLEY WILLIAMS SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE ON THIS LIST. also, the lead singer of Flyleaf should be somewhere on the list too. but HALEY WILLIAMS!!

Paramore is more pop than rock. O_o And the front-woman's voice isn't all that unique and interesting. But that's just what I think. ^_^

I think Amy Winehouse is a very talented singer. She's bringing back a certain voice quality that is rare to hear these days. It's a bit unfair how people attack her for her drug problems and her style. They really should just listen to the music she makes. She is an exceptional song writer; her lyrics are very raw and I can definitely feel the emotion behind her words. Go Amy!

Oh my god, what were the people who made up this list smoking (and more importantly, did they bring enough to share so that we all could at least tolerate their choices!)? I've never seen such a list of no-names and present day has-been's in my life! People, this list is called "Women Who Rock Right Now", not "Women Who You Could Care Less About Right Now"!! GET A CLUE!!!!
