She's brilliant. She was given money for performing at an awards show after party and there was some issue (don't remember what it was at the moment) anyway halfway through the show she told all the other stuck up artists and actors there she donated the money to build schools in Asia, which I thought was cool.

M.I.A. is awesome - she is one of the best/most innovative artist out right now, however, she's not that known in America because we're too obssessed with crappy artists like justin timberlake and britney spears - "paper planes" and "20 Dollars" rocks!
