Troggs Frontman Pegs Human Origins to Mars

Some things were simply meant to go together -- burgers and fries, Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, you get the idea. Well, much to our surprise, we've had to augment our personal list of perfect matches with the surprising combo of garage-rock grandpas and unique theories of human evolution -- thanks to dotty old Reg Presley, best known for more than four decades of fronting the Troggs. Not satisfied with merely belting out 'Wild Thing' for the 7,364th time, Presley has decided to busy himself with a film script detailing his singular notions of man's origin -- which he has pegged to the planet Mars, some 500 thousand years back. The singer tells Britain's Sun that "For starters, they've never found the missing link and why do we squint in the sun, when Neanderthal man had a heavy brow so his eyes were protected. You don't see a polar bear wearing sunglasses, do you? Their eyes have adapted, why haven't ours?"
We defy anyone to refute that logic.
