Sci-fi quintet the Comas took to the woods of North Carolina to film the first video from 'Spells.' Director Bradley Scott told Spinner, "I had an idea about a seance and Ouija board, and about five minutes later [lead singer] Andy Herod sent me a picture of a Ouija board. So we felt like we were on the same page."
Being the Star Wars nerds that they are, Scott and the band wanted the piece to be shot on a Sony CineAlta HDC-950, the same model George Lucas used for 'Episode II.' Herod said, "Hopefully it looks exactly like 'Empire Strikes Back.' There's werewolves, smoke machines, hot chicks, bright lights and hooded cloaks."

Dumbest video ever. If there was any doubt that indie is becoming late 80's hair metal, self-indulgent videos and all, this ought to put it to rest.
And, by the way, there's no way any self-respecting werewolf would dance to this crappy song.

Steve, I cannot believe that you can even remotely equate this video with those of the late 80's hair bands... You've got to be kidding me... This is one of the coolest vids I've seen in a while!! Great band, great song...
