Rapper Fires at Suits

Being shot nine times was -- to paraphrase that ubiquitous TV commercial -- priceless for 50 Cent. Going past that number, however, doesn't really tickle the rapper's fancy -- particularly if he's not making any cash from the subsequent exit wounds. Mr. Cent proved that to be the case last week when he filed a one-million dollar lawsuit against an Internet ad firm proffering a "shoot the rapper" game that he claims infringes on his image. While 50's name doesn't appear anywhere in the ad -- in which quick reflexes enable computer geeks to get in touch with their inner gangsters by blowing away an MC walking back and forth in a pop-up ad -- his lawyers say there's little doubt as to the identity of the target.
We personally don't think the game in question is all that difficult. After all, the extra-baggy pants and excess jewelry poundage slow the cartoon rapper's gait to the William "Refrigerator" Perry level -- but we're rooting for 50 anyway. After all, if the ad geeks get away with this, a "roll Vic Chesnutt's wheelchair down the hill" contest can't be far behind.

Well look at this... a nasty game that instead of women and police being slaughtered a rapper is. How poetic. Seems to me "Fiddy" should be wallowing in the glory of what his culture has created. Instead of suing he should be endorsing the product but then it's all about the money isn't it. Wake up fools.
