Swedes Pay Tribute to Britney Spears

Swedish pop group I'm From Barcelona asks some very simple questions in their new Britney Spears tribute song:
"Why do we care if good old Britney wants to shave her hair?
Why do we care? Well, I've been thinking. You've been thinking too.
They don't know a thing about you.
I'm gonna get a tattoo,
Because girl, I wanna look like you.
Why do we care if good old Britney wants a new tattoo?"
Why do we care? The ensemble's homage to the troubled starlet, appropriately titled 'Britney,' serves as the B-side to their latest single, and it comes just in time for Spears' controversial OK! Magazine cover story.
"Everybody's so upset 'cause Britney shaved her head," frontman Emanuel Lundgren said in a statement. "I think she looked cooler than ever. Punk rock!"

The 'Britney' song will be available to download with the 'We're From Barcelona' digital single beginning July 31. The band plays Lollapalooza on August 4.

Nice way to get a jump start on your album! But I'm afraid it doesn't make me want to buy yours. Why do we care that she's so fucking pathetic? Because it taints the youth of today and they get to see it on every magazine! SOOOO many of you are asking "Why do we care?"..and that, I must admit, is a good question. But the answer is that a whole lot of people obviously do care because if they didn't, the news and magazines and the internet wouldn't be reporting on her everyday. I don't dislike Britney, but I do feel for her. I think the girl has some REAL issues, and could use some REAL help. Not being attacked everyday, not being put down constantly, and not having her kids taken away. Just some support from her family, cause in the end, who really gives a crap if you people that sit her and bash her like her or not? You people have NO right to judge her...only God does, and I KNOW none of you are him.

i am not a fan of britneys but every one needs to leave her alone she made some mistakes some big some little she's a depressed young girl , she use to be what every teen girl wanted to be and becuse of an early fame she had to grow up very quickly ,she's 20 some thing years old had two failed marrages her career has kind of went down the toilet her husband is trying to screw her over and get every penny she has, all the while trying to take the last thing she has left her 2 adorable little boys ,and her mother instead of sticking up for her she's helping him ! no matter what her daughter has done she should have stood by her ! like i said she made some wrong choices ,driving with her child on her lap not such a good idea! and a high chair misshap things like that happen every day and you don't see those childrens parents on the front page of the news papper. she needs to see that people do care about her. she does need to be treated for depression, i think thats why she shaved her head becuse she was depressed. i just wish the tabloids would nock it off and leave her alone before she gets to the point were she feels like life is not worth it and i hope and pray that does not happen.I wish the best for her !
