Fugazi Photographer Documents 'The Only Band That Really Matters'

"Rolling Stone magazine wrote about the Clash in 1979, saying that they are the only band that matters," Friedman told Spinner. "If you look at it in that context, Fugazi is the only band that really matters." Friedman expounds his theory in an excerpt from 'Eyes.' "I loved this band ... so much so that they changed photography for me." Spinner gives you a look at the book, out September 3.

If you're a Fugazi fan you're going to love this book. Amazing beautiful pictures on every single page from beginning to end. From one of their very first shows to their very last show on U.S. soil. A good mix of color and black&white, live shows and portraits. If you don't know much about Fugazi or are even remotely interested in photography you will still think this is a great book. Highly recommended!
