Daft Punk Bring 'Robot Rock' to Lollapalooza

During their closing Day One Lollapalooza performance, Daft Punk, as expected, stormed the stage from the French duo's command center atop a futuristic pyramid with a light show on par with Pink Floyd's. Opening with 'Robot Rock' and quickly going into reconstructed versions of hits including 'Around the World,' Daft Punk was the only band on Day One that had an entire concert field dancing like it was 1999 -- arguably when raves were still hot -- to mash-ups of their own songs. Not bad for a couple of robots.
