Deserves the honor for the plain fact the line was one of the most popular during its time.

Sorry, no dis-respect to Bon Jovi, but I don't think anyone can out rock Sprinsteen. He is the only story teller AFTER Dylan, of course.

Springsteen? The only thing worthy to be on this list are a small handfull of songs from the mid 80's from him. Only one song of his could come in on this list and thats Glory Days.

Bon Jovi never ceases to amaze me. They are one of the few bands whose music loses nothing (in fact actually sounds even better) in concert. Just fantastic. Great songwriting. A great rock 'n roll band.

Please....JBJ couldn't carry Bruce's jock. If that's the "New Jersey" sound, that must be from the area around Camden and Newark.

AT LEAST YOU CAN SPELL SPRINGSTEEN - Lisa had a mis-spell I am sure but did you take time to read my comment??? Understand Chris - I have followed that NJ Band too, being a Jersey Girl and all and they are great but like I said Bon Jovi Still rocks my world....so they don't rock yours!!!!... So be it....I'll give you that choice!!! AMEN! ROCK ON MY FRIEND!

I dunno...I wasnt a Bon Jovi fan at all when I was younger, but I have gained a huge measure of respect for these guys over the years...definately the most artistic of the hair bands anyway.

And hey, if Aly can love him cant the rest of us??? ;-)
