Best Opening Lyrics: No. 12

--Roy Orbison's 'In Dreams'
Beautifully haunting by itself, chillingly twisted in 'Blue Velvet.'
Listen to the line!

LOL these condescending morons who pick these polls are not very good.My guess is theyre mostly gay and looking for approval. Theres far better opening lines than the ones used without having to bow down to gay basturds or child molesters.

Oh, and why can't a musician have a go at a different market? (even though i do agree that country is alot easier than Rock and Roll.)
couldn't really appreciate this guy until I hit 28.
always thought he was some old country crooner singing about his woman cheating on him or leaving on him.
Not until i heard "Anything you want..you got it.
anything at all you got it..baaaaaaaby!" and that guitar riff following...was at that point I was hooked.
Even though I had heard the song hundreds of times before and my mother liked Roy Orbison music.
One day this song just hit me ..like an epiphany does.
