the lyric is actually "We don;t smoke marijuana in school." the song's title is "Okie From Muskogee." perhaps that's what confused you. whoever made this list didn't listen to the songs; they just wrote the lyrics the way they were remembered.

For those that don't know, Merle is the best country vocalist that ever lived. Listen to some of his early stuff---workin man blues, mama tried,sing me back home, I started loving you again---merle had the purest,perfect tone voice. If you haven't heard merle, treat yourself to the best ever!
