Nicolis, I totally agree with you. Who did Ms. Apple know, and what did she DO to be a "bad, bad, girl"? It's a tragedy that Karen Carpenter died as she did of anorexia. It's ironic that sometimes the BEST PEOPLE are taken away from us too soon and they never even realized how GREAT they were. Karen had a voice that was angelic.
