What about "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"?

"Picture yourself in a boat on a river with Tangerine trees and Marmaldae skies". If that isn't a prime example of a great opening lyric, I don't know what is.

Sorry kidlets, I WAS around when this song came out, and yes, it was the one that made knees buckle!! And, while I may be old, and a real live Beatlemaniac (OMG can it really be THAT long ago!!??) it's just too bad that Paul turned out to be a real jerk. I hope Heather gets the change that fell out his pockets and into the couch!! The best thing about Paul after the Beatles was Linda....sorry....
