When John found out about Denny & Michelle hooking up, it gave him the inspiration to write "I saw her again last night". He then dragged the two of them into the studio and forced Denny to sing the song. It becomes a #1 hit and everything is groovy again for another summer. Ahhh, the glorious 60's.
