what does the great Jerry Lee Lewis say about Elvis Presley?

He was not only the King of Rock and Roll, he was the KING of Country and Gospel as well. We have been life long fans of Elvis and this trip was worthwhile and we are both proud to have been part of this event. There was so much admiration from all the fans from all over the world at the Fedex and you could feel it in the air.The show gave you chills as if you were actually seeing Elvis live and in person.

whenever i hear a song of his i just want to dance and for 2 to 4 minutes his voice and music
is all that matters. my mom saw him 5 times in oklahoma city she introduced me to everlasting music.
I've just watched Lisa-Marie and Elvis' video of In 'the Ghetto'.It was so moving for me and I can only imagine what Lisa-Marie was feeling. It so wonderful to see that all the money is going to such a worthwhile cause,as we often see so much negative about Elvis. The wonderful things he did for people and charities is touched upon in the history of his too short life, but his daughter hasn't forgot the side of him which is often forgotten in the tabloids. How wonderful to see that so much good is being done in the Presley name, quietly and with dignity,by his daughter.

I never got to see him but his pictures hang in my living room and I have all his music. He had the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. There was such magic in his music and there will never be another one like him.

I have never seen anything like it -- 106 degrees, 70,000 people and not a cross word from anyone. You could feel the love for the man from not only fellow Americans but people from all over the world. We waited in line for 7 hours to pay our respects and don't regret a minute of it. And this from someone who bought her first Elvis CD in March 2007.

I was heartbroken. I am now 42 and still listen to him and watch his concerts and some of his movies. There will never be another person like him. Today people just sing to make money (with a few exceptions) but w/Elvis you can tell he loved to sing and he loved to entertain. Money wasn't the driving force. He had it all. He could hear a song and his interpertation made it his, like Bridge over troubled water, love that version. I named my only child, my son after him his name is Presley, Elvis brings me so much when I am sad or scared elvis calms me, When I have had surgery, and I have had a lot, I have the surgeon play Elvis in the operating room. I have been to Graceland 3 times and next year I am taking my 5 yr.old son. He loves Elvis too.

His presentation of any song was unique, different, and never followed a set pattern. He is still my favorite for all type songs, and I particularly enjoy his Christmas songs and his hymns.
