A Gaggle of Gallaghers!

When it comes to really livening up a party, we can think of a couple foolproof methods -- pointing a couple of hungry pit bulls in the direction of the buffet line comes to mind, as does inviting Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher to attend together. A group of folks in County Donegal, Ireland has chosen the latter approach to bring some spark to what they're billing as the World's Largest Same Name Gathering -- at which they're hoping to assemble thousands of Gallaghers, in an attempt to crack the Guinness Book of World Records.

The battling brothers haven't responded as of yet -- they've got some time, as the Gallagher-palooza isn't slated to take place until Sept. 9 -- but we're kind of hoping they can. After all, they could contribute to a rare Guinness Book twofer -- sneaking a win in the World's Largest Mass Arrest category after Noel and Liam take full advantage of that open bar.
