Springsteen Reunites With E Street Band on New Album

Bruce Springsteen will once again join forces with the E Street Band, for his upcoming album, 'Magic,' the first full-length from the Boss since his 2006 folk-covers disc 'We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions.' The New Jersey rocker's most recent collection of original material was 2005's 'Devils & Dust,' recorded without his longtime backing group. The album is set to be released on Oct. 2.

The lead single from the 11-song disc, Springsteen 15th studio long-player and the first he has recorded with the E Street Band since 2002's 'The Rising,' will be the track 'Radio Nowhere.' The song is reported to have an analog sound reminiscent of 'Born to Run'-era Bruce. 'Magic,' recorded in Atlanta, was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who also produced Springsteen's 'The Rising' and 'Devils & Dust.'

Springsteen's longtime manager, Jon Landau, has described 'Magic' as a "high-energy rock CD. It's light on its feet, incredibly well played by Bruce and the members of the E Street Band and, as always, has plenty to say. It's also immensely entertaining," he added.

Here is the full track listing for 'Magic':

1. 'Radio Nowhere'
2. 'You'll Be Comin' Down'
3. 'Livin' in the Future'
4. 'Your Own Worst Enemy'
5. 'Gypsy Biker'
6. 'Girls in Their Summer Clothes'
7. 'I'll Work for Your Love'
8. 'Magic'
9. 'Last to Die'
10. 'Long Walk Home'
11. 'Devil's Arcade'

In addition to the new record, Springsteen and the E Street Band are also in the midst of scheduling a concurrent tour, which is slated to kick off in the fall.
