Crue Bassist Relives Girls, Girls, Girls (And Their Moms)

Nikki Sixx isn't exactly the kind of guy a girl would want to take home to Mama. Unless, of course, you hear the Motley Crue bassist tell it."We would put bounties out on stupid s***, like whoever could sleep with the fattest chick," Sixx tells Blender of the band's past party days. "And managers would start getting involved -- one of them said there was a $10,000 bounty out for whoever could sleep with a mother-daughter team. Then that became too easy, so it was a mother-daughter-grandmother team."
The rocker -- who releases his jaw-dropping, aptly titled memoir, 'The Heroin Diaries,' on Sept. 18 -- is revealing a lot these days. He also tells Blender the longest he's gone without showering (one month), the last time he punched someone (2005), his advice on marriage ("Don't f***in' do it") and most entertainingly, albeit TMI, his experience with Viagra and Cialis.
"That s*** rocks," the twice-divorced rocker says. "We were playing somewhere, and there was this beautiful model -- she came to the show and we had a great conversation and were hanging out. She was funny, witty -- and we just felt something. So she says, 'I'm gonna go do something, and I'll come up to the room and meet you, and we'll hang out, watch a movie.' So I said, 'OK.' And I go to someone, 'Give me one of those Cialis things that you guys are taking.' So I take it ... and she never showed up. That was a painful night."

This makes me laugh. Did any of you people who took the time to post criticism of Nikki and his comments actually take the time to click the "Read the Full Blender Interview" link? I think not. If you had, you wouldn't be complaining that no one cares and talking about how he needs to shut up--he was ASKED these questions by *gasp* Blender readers. That's right, people want to know this stuff. I am not the kind of person who is going to defend him by calling you "haters" and tell you that you're jealous, because I don't believe it's true. This man has not led the kind of life that anyone would want to have. Granted, he has fame, fortune, and has had a lot of women, but he's suffered, too. Pick up a copy of "The Dirt" and catch a glimpse into his life before you criticize. Yep, it's all about rock 'n roll hedonism, but that's what the 80's were about--excess. Ask anyone who lived in the 1980's. As others have mentioned, he had one seriously screwed up childhood and while he has made some poor decisions in his life, he actually seems to be a pretty damn good father. That says a lot about the kind of person that he really is. He's made mistakes, but I've never once heard him make excuses for them and he's turned his life around. Not many people these days take responsiblity for their actions and do something about it.
And just for the record, I am a Motley Crue fan and I DO think that Nikki is f-in' hot. I'm 26, not an 40-year old "metal whore hag" as I'm sure you'd like to make me out to be. I met Nikki a few years ago and I gotta tell you, he's a hell of a nice guy--as is Tommy Lee. Believe it or not, they are both incredibly polite and very well-spoken. You want to talk trash on somebody, do some reading about Vince Neil.

Personally, I can't wait to read it. The Dirt was one of the most interesting books I have ever read, can't wait for the movie to come out, though I doubt it will do the book justice. Gonna be pretty hard to make it a R Rating and not X.
