I think every lyric the Beatles ever wrote was the best and number one in my book,,,, when you can write a song that tills of a story that has a beginning and a ending and takes you on that journey in your mind,,, that is just magic,,, and something I hope to do before I die,,,, The Magical Mystery Tour was an album that no other can match to this day,,,,, and Iâm so glade I lived thru The Beatles days and yes I do miss it and own all the DVDâs of them,,, and I really think Iâm the way I am because of them.. they taught me the wayâ¦â¦
AND WOULD YOU BELIEVE WHO HAS ALL THE RIGHTS TO THE BEATLES CLASSIC TUNES..TAKE A GUESS..SAY SAY SAY..THAT'S A HINT HE COLLABERATED WITH HIM ON THAT TUNE..NOW MUST WE SAY ..MICHEAL JACKSON..
August 11 2008 at 2:31 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWell LuLu,
since Michael is dead, Paul will be getting the rights to the songs back, in a recent interview after Michael died, he said the worse feeling in the world was playing a Beatles song in concert and having pay someone else for a song that HE wrote. He regretted ever selling the Beatles Catalog to Jackson in the first place, While Jacksons Music was excellent, he had no clue what to do with the Beatles music.
And uhm, how is Panic at the disco copying them?
Wowza.
awww
this one?
i mean all beatles are phenomenal, but there are others out there...i think this list is more of a popularity contest than it is based on the actual intelligence and emotion of a song. but what do i know? im just a silly 14 year old who loves her beatles
=]
I love this song, and I love the Beatles, but I'm not sure I'd pick this as their best opening lyric.
Hmm...maybe Across the Universe?
"Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup"
wow, jim! where've you been? seriously. great artists and their work stand the test of time. my parents listened to the beatles in their day and the mere fact that i, as a 15 year old, can pick up their records and enjoy the music proves that the beatles must've been onto something. they're geniuses...end of story!

(Sarah Connor was there, too)
Have a nice time over there....
DAW
ok i grew up lietening to the beatles..even saw first hand their performance on the ed sullivan show..i was trying not to scream sitting in my front room watching a black and white t.v. they rocked back then every bit as much as they do today.and yes their music that is listened to today speaks for itself..they simply are the best
February 09 2008 at 2:57 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyi LOVE this song and as for you Jim clearly you have no taste in music because the beatles are the greatest band of all time!!!!!!
Jimbo can't write a proper sentence, let alone a hit song. We must consider the source when reading these comments. Ignorant people don't respect anything.
