What memories this one brings. I was in high school when this one came out, used to listen to it with my boyfriend. The other song on the same album that was awesome was "Tuesday's Gone"

i saw skynard with kiss being the first band in the concert. flames, smoke, crazy outfits, none of us knew who they were and didn't really like them. we were there to see skynard, we were drooling to see skynard. the concert was fantastic and it wasn't long after (weeks only)when some of the members got killed. it was a cloudy rainy day when the news hit, i was sickened, and i knew this was why the sun hadn't come out that day. seems like yesterday really. if you ever watch the movie, "devil's rejects", the end plays "free bird" and it goes perfectly with what's happening in the film. sort of a cheaply made movie but it has great tunes in it, worth watching for that alone, and of course, for free bird. i love the t-shirt, it says "who the f--- are the rolling stones". actually, i've been to a stones concert when they're a bunch of old farts but still can crank out some goodies. love the stones, love skynard. hope the first line in a stones song is in this article..they did so many greats. we're down to the top 5 now...can hardly wait to see who's there. onward, march.....

i went to number 4 but had to come back to this to say that the breeze was my favorite song. remember...they call me the breeze, i just keep going on....la la la.... such a peppy song. super fast and heck of alotta fun to dance to.
