I got to hear FREE BIRD before it came out. They were working on their 2nd album. Cost $2.00, and seen a movie also. When I heard Free Bird I know it was one of the greatest song ever by one of the greatest bands ever. It still brings a tear to my eyes today. They really know how to kicked ass!!!!!

Saw lynard skynard in concert in 1975. Freebird rocked!!! actually got on the stage and held on to ronnie van zandts bottle of black jack!! Great concert! he died not long after.
