Depeche Mode played 124 shows during their 2005/2006 world tour, but frontman Dave Gahan still isn't ready to slow down. On Oct. 23, he will release 'Hourglass,' his second solo album, which he wrote and produced with the help of DM touring musicians Christian Eigner and Andrew Phillpott. Gahan's first solo album, 2003's 'Paper Monsters,' was a modest success, but fans are already saying that the new album's first single, 'Kingdom,' is a vast improvement over his previous solo efforts. There may be hope yet.
Listen to 'Kingdom' after the jump.
