I think meg play's drums pretty well. I have watched many videos of her playing and she definitely has rhythm. It's that innocent childlike playing that really makes the band. Jack plays his best when he is with her. The
White Stripes are awesome and completely original. About the tour being canceled... Well shit happens o.k. Anxiety really sucks. Unless you live with it you wouldn't know the crippling effects it has over you. So to the people putting Meg down for that, you are insensitive and idiots.

What a shame for Jack White. He's one of the great guitarists of our time, in his prime, riding a big wave - and then - CRASH - his lame drummer girl kills the momentum. The sad thing here is that White Stripes fans are fully aware that Meg is not even a good musician at all. How could she possibly feel pressure---everyone KNOWS she is bad and is completely OK with it. Jack should just take an hour to train a monkey to drum like Meg and go on with the show! The one good thing that could come out of this is that the Raconteurs will maybe get Jack's full focus now.

What a Crock!! I had to buy tickets on ebay for about double the original price for the sold out Albuquerque show which was ok since I would get to see and hear Jack White perform Live!!! !!But Meg has Anxiety!Oh No!Come on Meg pull yourself together! Now I have Acute Anxiety cause I have to kiss my $ goodbye! The ebay seller will get a refund plus my money! I get screwed! Acute Anxiety is what happens when you get Famous, rich, and spoiled!Jack it might be time to move on!

Yes I had tickets to the white stripes at the ACL aftershow that i bought for a ridiculous price off a scalper because i have tried, unsuccessfully, to see them every time they’ve come to austin. Yes, I’m heartbroken, upset and disappointed. Onto bigger things:

I have a theory…

If you go to the white stripes myspace page [which, incidentally, has only been in existance for the past 6 months or so], and read the blurb about Icky Thump, there are some things that should stand out to you. Most notably, the paragraph about ‘booking tons of performances’ as quickly as ‘corporately possible’ My theory is that the white stripes think that they have become too corporate too quickly and are looking to either A - get out of their contract with the record label, or B - Screw their record label as much as possible in retribution because, as we all know, tours and shows are the biggest cashcow for them…

thoughts?
