Worst Band Feuds: No. 1

Fightin' Words: "You're on, Chuck." (Lewis)
That's what the original Killer allegedly said to fellow future Hall of Famer, Chuck Berry, at the legendary '50s show that both wanted to close. After much debate, the promoter convinced Lewis to go on first. He played one of the wildest sets of his career, finishing by dousing his piano with gasoline and setting it aflame. With sirens blaring and the crowd in delirium, he calmly delivered his three-word kiss-off: "You're on, Chuck." (Or, as a Lewis biography claims, a less charitable version that ended with the n-word.)

May 11 2010 at 3:07 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhat about the Feud between Marvin Gaye and Frankie Beverly of Maze? We never see Maze on TV or on any kind of interviews. However, every concert that they do is sold out!!
But something went on between Frankie and Marvin Gaye and Frankie has newver been able to rise above it!
What about Pink Floyd versus Roger Waters?
"I am leaving this band, Pink Floyd are no more!"
(Roger Waters)
As Roger began his solo career, the rest of Pink Floyd decided to record an album ("Momentary Lapse Of Reason") without him.
Roger would become annoyed as he performed his old Pink Floyd songs on stage his former band mates performed the same songs in an arena not far from where he'd perform.
Roger would then go on to sue them for use of the Pink Floyd name.
After the suit, (which ended in favor of Pink FLoyd) and another album without Waters ("The Division Bell") Roger and ex bandmates put up Another Wall, A Wall Of Silence.
This would go on for over 20 years, then in 2005 Bob Geldof would bring Roger, and former band mates back together as Pink Floyd for one last concert performance.
Three years later Rick Wright passed away.
Alas Pink Floyd are no more.
Judges dicission:No Contest
What about the Euronymous/Grishnack feud from the band mayhem??? That is the only istance in history with a murderer and victim on the same album recording,(De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas was the album name, look it up!!)(Grishnack gave euronymous 26 stab wounds)by the way. But theses idiots think that mariah an jlo are worth being on here, these jerks need to do some serious research.
