Worst Band Feuds: No. 15

ok, I passed out for about 5 minutes because my mind was reeling from the idea that there is a bunch of stumps out there that actually listen to RHCPs. I'm just going to go out on this note: The WORST thing I ever saw and heard Mr. Bungle play was when they were mocking Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I thought it was terrible because I thought it WAS RHCPs (you tube it, you'll see it) - and by the way, Mr Bungle played that crap better than RHCP could.

Bungle's California is a friggen masterpiece. It may be hard to follow with all the different style changes in it, (songs change direction so many times I can't imagine how they got through any of the songs live - and they did, PERFECTLY - without stopping to ask "where are we"?), but to be ABLE to play all of those styles fluently takes more talent than ANYONE in RHCP has in what they left behind in their Circumcisions. And flee is UTTERLY over rated. He has a following from a bunch of little air headed groupies that wanted to bang him. ANYONE who can play bass will say the same. RHCP's music was made to make money. Period. They made exactly what producer's wanted to sell, and it was radio friendly trite crap. FNM, or ANY of Mike's other projects displayed an interest in being CREATIVE with the music and letting the cards fall where they may regardless of the critics, and the result is that Mike in particular has made more GREAT songs, even if you remove the less listenable songs, throughout his LONG career, which is still rolling full steam, than RHCPs ever even dreamed of being clever enough to make. Mike Patton: FNM, Fantômas, Mr bungle, Tomahawk, Peeping tom, and several cds in his own name as a solo career.. not to mention his movie soundtracks for crank 2, a perfect place and Mondo Cane, and he has recently reported that he is CURRENTLY (as of 2013) working on no less than 6 more cds through various channels. Wheres RHCPs these days? Are they even still alive? I see flee in a one crappy movie or another every now and again playing the same fool he plays, and that's about it. Did any of them know how to sing in up to at least three languages? Could any of the actually compose an entire album with a full orchestra, let alone a single song? Quite frankly, unless your flamboyantly gay, or a 42 year old woman stuck in the brief window of time when anyone knew who RHCP was, you have no business listening to RHCP at all. Seriously, the only person who would even ask if anyone thought there was a legitimate contest of talent between these two bands is a person who obviously has never actually bother to listen to mike patton's entire body of work, OR even all of FNM's. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. THIS QUESTION IS RETARDED. It makes as little sense as asking "who's a better singer? Elvis Presley or a can of tuna." - And all of you moron's who are here saying anything nice about RHCPs should go RIGHT NOW to your collection of radio friendly garbage and burn it, because if thats your opinion, that RHCPs even compares at all, you are too stupid to know when your saying something that a person with more than 4 brain cells would be embarrassed to say. You shouldn't be allowed to vote in this country. You should be deported to the middle of the pacific. My god, there is blood now dripping from my eyes and ears from having to have been asked something that dumb. If you have kids, sell them to science or throw them out for adoption so they don't become YOU.

**** em both....FNM had NO longevity, the Peppers have fired/hired and been the recipient of the hype machines support...I love how Peppers fans are such good lil sheepy minions...btw when FNM opened for Robert Plant they hit it out of the park...as for talent...take Flea out of the Peppers and ya got shyte.

lol All these dopes saying hurrr durrr RHCP are more popular then FNM or Mr Bungle. lol Yeah that is what it is all about. Popularity. Leading us to conclusion that Brittney Spears is better than both.

to compare faith no more to Red hot chili peppers is crazy. Mike patton is considered the better singer but as a lyricist Anthony Kiedis is untouchable. Some of these FNM fans r saying FNM's band is better than RHCP's band....R U INSANE. Flea is in the top 3 bass players all-time the man is a rock god. John frusciante is one of the best guitar players in 30 years. Lose ur fan boy attitude and realize FNM and Mr. Bungle wasn't underrated...NOBODY LIKE THEM

Kiedis took himself too seriously while Patton was the clown, the freethinker and most of all: ALOT more talented then Kiedis.

Let's compare:

Flea Vs Trevor Dunn: Dunn style is more ecclectic, but it does not makes him less talented. You guys who are saying Flea is a better player must never have touched a bass guitar.

Frusciante Vs Spruance: While Frusciante is really good at composing melodies, Spruance kills it in terms of effects, playing "what the song needs" and not trying to shine.

Smith Vs Heifetz: Uh...no comparison here. One plays mellow rock and the other one can blend jazz, speed-metal, funk or any style into ONE SONG.

And finally, Kiedis Vs Patton: Kiedis has a weak voice, boring, simple, foreseeable lyrics. Patton has proven that he can sing anything from italian trad to death metal.

Kiedis had an ego-tantrum, and didn't want to admit it.
Wasn't it bothering when you were young, just bought some new clothes, and that the clown-on-the-class, the one everybody thought was cooler than you had the same shirt as you?

Anthony Penis is a Loser his voice is a desaster and that is that making to speak bad about Mike Patton than he know himself that Mike Patton is much better but much better than him
