Ice Cube was the first member to leave NWA, in a royalty dispute. Cube's 'A Message to the Oreo Cookie' was interpreted as a dig at Eazy-E. NWA replied with the unmistakable dis 'A Message to B.A.,' which called Cube "Benedict Arnold" and suggested a personal greeting from a broomstick. Cube shot back with with a similar offer in 'No Vaseline' – widely considered one of the all-time best dis songs.

The Orea Cookie thing was stupid as all - both parties involved have obviously got some white blood in them. Rare is the "black" person in America who I see and think,"damn, brother/sister is solid African blood!" I've been to Africa and seen many of the different groups - there's cream in most American coffee. Deal with it.

No vaseline was the reason why NWA split. cube weakedn the group when he left and broke up one of the greatest rap groups with dat song. The best dis song ever!!! It ain't even close!!!

Does anyone actually speak English anymore when they write comments? Its no wonder that radio has turned to shit when this is the fan base that is created by the crap that gets put out there. And yes I do realize that NWA and Eazy E were not on the radio but more than likely they would be these days with about half of it bleeped out so kids could just be overwhelmed with how well Truck Rhymes with %^ck. What talent!!

Mark - For as "gangsta rap" and derogatory as this stuff was, these guys made rap what it is, before the floodgates opened and every little kid in the hood was able to get a record deal. Eazy-E's "RMFG's" is one of the greatest rap records of all time, and that's not mentioning Ice's old works, OR dre.
