well these two songs are merely ok, and i dont even think i like digital sea. i hope thrice hasnt turned techno, and i hope at least a few songs will be close to the harder sound that artist in the ambulance and identity crisis gave us. everyone is going ape shit over these two songs that arent even that great, but if this album or 4 albums is anything like vheissu i will be really let down.

Digital Sea is awesome, I'm not sure about Fire Breather though. I'll have to listen a few more times. Thrice is by far my favorite band and I love the way they have progressed over the years.

I personaly love the two songs. I'm a huge thrice fan and to be honest when I heard Vheissu and these two songs for the first time, I felt a bit let down. But now I've given Vheissu time to grow and it's definatley there best album, musically at least. And now I've listened to these two songs a few times I think their brilliant, especially if you can 'feel' the music.

Although i usually listen to a song 4-5 times before formulating an "objective" opinion, i definitely was not blown away by either one of these songs, they were just average sounding. Still, i am very anxious for October 16th!!

ref to bens statement. if you want cookie cutter music then go elsewhere. thrice is a band that is goin to be around for years to come and its because of albums like vheissu that they will do this! you can only remake a sound so many times before it gets boring and overplayed! Thrice keep up the great work!!!
