Eleven members strong, Staten Island, N.Y. afro-soul outfit the Budos Band unleashed an assault of booty-shakin', funky instrumental bliss when they stopped by the Interface. Armed with more gear than a high-school marching band, the clan offered up four tracks from their latest album, 'Budos Band II.'The Budos members sat down for to talk up various topics, including Wu-Tang Clan and Amy Winehouse, and battling fellow afro-beat entourage Antibalas. "They are our friends but we'd take them in a second," baritone sax player Jared Tankel told Spinner of the latter. Guitarist and Dap-King Tommy Brenneck went on to acknowledge his hometown heroes, giving the most love to one in particular. "Inspectah Deck," he said, "because he appreciates cool music. I got to hang out with him one time and he is the coolest out of the whole crew."

In these guys, I have seen great musicianship. They played previously played music by different artists of another countries ,for example, Ethiopian music. Indeed, Budo’s guys played in more energetic way so keep up the good job; and of course always credit your source
