Hey, give Willie a break, the man is well into his 80's and he will give you a good 2 hour concert. And he plays and sings every song. What other artist can say and do the same?

riche really? go get drunk n hit something. like maybe your family tree b/c u need to be taken out the gene pool. when did u bother u? i noticed u posted 6 almost 7 months after him. nice. just keep drinking. n wes no other musicians could really do what willie does. look at the last time willie got caught with reefer in 2006(LOUISIANA). Then on the cover of HIGH TIMES for Jan. 2008 issue. keep it up willie.

Maybe it is so blatantly written into the rider because 1.)We ALL know Willie's habits (if you don't, you can come out from under that rock now...) and therefore 2.) The power of plausible deniability makes it possible to book an infamous pot smoker who's fans are also going to turn the venue into a giant bong...actually it's more like I imagine the inside of Scooby's Mystery Machine being.... :)
It is just plain and simple courtesy to keep the facade of local laws being upheld when you're a pot smokin' troubadour with a band of merry hippie followers.

Typo no. Inverted yep. Me thinks this must be Free Smoke...not smoke free. Burn on Willie. Last year pot took over as the #1 cash crop in America (35 billion dollars according to AOL). The US govt gets no tax $ from this but we do spend a ton locking up all the bad "potheads". I know none of this makes sense so that is why politicians are all for it. Time to decriminalize what people want to do in the own house...duh???? ps...why would the pharm companies or the alcohol industry want you to grow a plant that they can't get the unfair share of? Just thinking out loud...cough cough

all goofiness aside, ludowici kid, you hit it RIGHT on about decriminalizing reefer..they want the taxes..what they NEED is the medical marijuana, for glaucoma, chemotherapy, and other treatments.

well duh number 1 thats why they will never legalize pot, they make more money off it being illigal than legal..ive had my pot head years and have long been over, but still see nothing wrong with allowing it. but like I said the gov makes waaaay more money off it being illigal
