For all you missed informed people it is a fact that"The Queen Of Soul" has a fear of heights so you dum ass thats why she does not go over the 5th floor.She has never flew in a plan and has never been out of the country to preform which she longs to do some day.As far as her weight many people never knew that she smoked for years and when you try an quite whats the first thing to happen is you get bigger from not smoking ask your doctor.She is and always will be "THE QUEEN" SO R.E.S.P.E.C.T. MS. FRANKLIN JUST A LITTLE BIT.

Aretha has been scheduled to sing in Cary, NC 3 times in the past few years, and canceled at the very last minute, for no good reason. Don't know why they keep asking her back...

it isn't rude for her to demand that much cash up front compared to some of the demands of other so called "divas" out these days. that money will go far in providing her with her EXACT accomdations at the last minute.

She's the Queen..no matter what. My husband used to drive a limo and he drove her one night. She chain smoked the entire time and the limo was full of smoke. She wouldn't let anyone put the windows down to clear the limo. But hey, she's the Queen, and she's earned the right to do whatever the hell she wants. She's paid her dues and CORPO's right...She's a legend!!!

Years ago when I was in school I worked at a hotel she stayed in. Her brother was in charge of her fur coats. They had their own seprate room. He had to check out all the supplies on the maid's cart because he thought people were trying to poison him. Their demands were beyond outragous and we didn't allow them in again.

Sorry. She's a fat pig who screeches out songs (it's sure not MUSIC). Don't understand what it is that rocks your souls !! But then I don't understand ANY black music. PERIOD !!!!!!! I've never heard any that IS music, be it "gospel" or rock, and certainly not that "rap crap". It's an insult to songwriters.

Ms. Franklin lost ALL my R E S P E C T when her and her crew came into our restaurant a couple years ago, ran up a big bill and left the waitress not one tip. She can stay at the No-tell Motel for all i care!
