i hope these folks get the same sympathy they are giving ms franklin when they get old and perhaps past their prime. One can only guess that no matter how aging effects ms franklin even on her death bed with her last death rattle she'll still be 100 times the singer any of these callus,tone deaf,knuckle dragging trodlodytes will ever be. no offense to troglodytes of course..

I saw Aretha a few years ago in concert and it's no surprise that she demands $25,000.00 upon arrival. She has the shortest concert I've ever been to, tickets were $75.00 but she's not worth $15.00 if you consider the amount of time she sang. The comedian's act at the beginning was longer than hers. I'd NEVER pay to see her again and would suggest anyone thinking of doing so save their money. She was so fat that she was out of breath and it wasn't a surprise that the concert was so short. Such ashamed for a woman with a voice like she has.

After 9/11, who would want to be on a floor too far up? I totally agree with the woman that said something about her husband being a firefighter and understanding that idea. I certainly wouldn;t want to be up all that far either. What if the elevator breaks down? I am disabled and I live on the third floor. I would have to wait to be rescued myself before I would get out of a burning building.

I also know that she is now watching her diet more than ever. Her diabetes runs in the family and she has lost family members becz of that disease. You cant lose a ton of weight overnight. I know she has stated she has lost a fair amount of weight since she was told of the diabetes and started really watching what she eats.

To all you rude people saying nasty things about her, GROW UP. I am sure you would not want someone talking about you in such a manner. You know what they say about people in glass houses....... Take heed.
