rolling stones are garbage cant believe they got away with such rubbish .... will never be the beatles or anyother great rock band yah there biggger than life but they need to just stop playing

Yes, I love "The Bad Boys of Boston" Aerosmith too!!!

My very first rock concert was seeing the Stones on June 24, 1966, Manning Bowl (large cement football stadium ahead of its time), Lynn, Massachusetts. Opening acts were The McCoys, Rick Derringer's band...hit song at that time "Hang on Sloopy", The Trade Winds..hit song at that time "New York's a Lonely Town When You're the Only Surfer Boy Around" (yes, I know..hard to believe but they were a band and that song peaked at #32 in '65 - do a google search and you'll see), and last but certainly not least, The Standells doing their infamous "DIRTY WATER" which lives on and on at Red Sox Games!!! (GO SOX!!) My ticket cost me $4.00 which got me a stadium seat. When the Stones finally came on I did my first concert "upgrade" over the railing, onto the field where the the "expensive seats - $6.00" (folding chairs) were. There were about 30 wooden horses lined up end to end about 15 feet in front from the stage which was only about 4 feet high...cops tried to keep the crowds behind the wooden horses, but in the end, the crowd was in a frenzy, the Stones had to make a mad dash off the stage to their limos to escape the crowds that were pushing the wooden horses down like toothpics...(Hey, who knew about concert crowd control back then..certainly not the cops LOL) I hightailed my little ass, running like hell after the Stones...ended up being pushed half in and half out of one of their limo windows because the back window was down (once again...who knew..not the limo driver)cops pulling me, Stones pushing me! The cops didn't know what to do so they dropped tear gas on us, which did work LOL...eyes burning, black mascara running down my face. Do a google search and you'll see it's all true. I loved the Stones before that night but from that day on, the Stones were my favorite band, I was hooked on concerts, and my upgrading concert seat talent has been perfected to this day!!! Oh yes, and to top the evening off, a very recognizable photo of me in the midst of this melee was taken (UPI) and printed in newspapers, magazines, etc., all over the world. My guy friends serving in 'Nam wrote and told me they saw the pic of "little Cathie" published in papers over there. I'll love The Stones forevahhhh!!!

There is no other band Like The Rolling Stones. They got all the Satisfaction, AND still getting young chicks at the age OF over 60..wonderful life and great music,..THANKS GUYS.

If I were the venue manager, I would send them two (2) smartly dressed, well groomed 65 year old hostesses! Then let's get wired up to listen to them mock the elderly and demand we get rid of them. Then we post it on YouTube, show them for the sexist, ageist, shallow pigs that they are. Unless, that is, they want to cover some of our other....er, how shall we say..... "operating expenses"?

The Rolling Stones are and ALWAYS will be the greatest classic R&R band in the world. Mick and Kieth ROCK ON OLD CHAPS!!!!
