"All items in dressing room must be covered by clear plastic wrap until uncovered by main artist. This is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY." --Prince

The Purple One, referred to as the "Main Artist" throughout this rider, takes 'Let's Go Crazy' to another level with this germophobic request.

i can see this, as i am a germ phobe, too (it's called verminophobia) so many nasty, hacking, snotty, unhealthy, unwashed hands, gross people out there- i totally don't blame him. plus- been to several concerts, been a 'fam' for 24 years... when he performs, he goes all night (concert and then the after parties which can go until dawn). he HAS to be healthy.

stop hating. what would YOU ask for in your rider???

A crack oil machine atomizes mineral oil to produce a haze. Used so you can see all the beams of concert light.

#9 is that comment necessary? He is still Prince, loved by many and you are just #9 on some forum.

here's another opportunist. the record company that signed him, and gave him over 100 million up front, and wanted him to write a few hit songs, and he didn't do anything. he has no talent. he just has a weird persona, and how did he make it so big. he hasn't had onee hit since the 1980's

just curious how old are most of you leaving comments? I grew up listening to Prince and love his music then and now. Wonder how many of the little Pop tarts that are out now will be around for almost 30 years as he has.

seems reasonable. He just wants to make sure it's new. And knowing the habits of some of his fellow performers, and also groupies, I can totally understand not wanting to sit on a semen stained chair leftover from the previous rocker. Especially where cushions or pillows are concerned.

First of all reguardless how old they are they worked hard to get where they are. Prince was an Icon still is as far as I am concerned, yes I now listen to other music, but if you really listen to today's music it is yesterday's music with a few extra beats. As for the ones with the negative comments where are your records and music awards.
