Janet has been around for a long time....

I have been around longer..

Janet helped break the racial war on "All in the Family" at a cruicial time when women in general were treated badly by any man..

Janet, as a small black child brought this white racist man(archie) down to his knee's!!

He Loved her dearly because she wasn't afraid to approach him with love and song!!!! her voice as a small child was as tremendous as her voice is today.

Janet, not only stold the viewers heart,,, her impressions of May West( with hands on hips lol) are still rememorable to this old white woman's heart..

keep on being who you are janet ,, you are a sweetie!!

It was only an acting job but it was a tuff one to do gracefully for any chld

I once worked at a venue in NC and JJ demanded that she be saluted whenever she was backstage. She also demanded new toilet seats be in the bathrooms. Needless to say I had my boss move me to another area to avoid the one finger salute.

Sheesh folks - These riders are to try to make sure that after spending months on the road in a motor coach or doing hotel room after hotel room some ya-hoo looking for the quick and cheap way out doesn't screw you and ruin the show for your fans - - FISH ICE (I'm thinking) probably refers to one time when a lazy catering employee filled the ice buckets for her dressing room from the boxes full of ice that the fish for dinner came packed in.

If you had a clue or did some reading or even broadened the catalog of music that you listen to you would find that people like McCartney, The Beach Boys were and are the reason alot of todays bands/singers picked up a guitar, drum sticks. You will also find that they have a respect for these "fossils" for the way they paved the road and changed the face of music forever. Before the Beatles it was rare that artists wrote their own music. They also made the first music video's (not MTV). So dummy up and open your head to a world of music that laid the path to todays sound period.

I'm not sure but, I believe Janet Jackson is referring to "plastic fish-shaped ice cubes" when she mentioned "fish ice". I suppose if you were not expecting these little plastic reuseable frozen shapes, it could very well turn you off to the drink they were floating around in. I'm sure it may even frighten someone a bit. That is, the surprise of it and all as you are turning up your glass to prepare to drink the beverage and all of a sudden "fish ice" catches your eye. Also the possibility of being unsanitary is also something to think about, since they are reuseable. They are plastice with a colored liquid inside which upon melting they can be refrozen again and again. Also suppose some of the unknown liquid leaks out into your drink.
