Outrageous Concert Riders: No. 5

"BACON VERY IMPORTANT THAT BACON BE AVAILABLE AT EVERY MEAL AND DURING DAY" --Metallica

This salty request was so important to the Bay Area metalheads that it was repeated three times.

metallica rocks they are true muscicians if u have ever seen them in concert, you would change your minds about them being a sellout, they are up in age and have only tested there music so you all keep listening to the stupid ass music out today, little to no talent, emo what, punk rock yeah right?or bubble gum rock or digital homo music,i do agree lars is a cry baby and jason should of stayed ,but to be rockin as long as they have they are legends.they brought the 80"s to a screeching halt .go buy all there albums so you have good music to listen too.

The members of Metallica are a bunch of greedy capitalist pigs more interested in lining their pockets than creating quality art. The fact that they have such a desire for bacon just introduces the idea that they are willing to eat their own...

Metallica still rocks....they just grew up a little. You can't live in the 80's forever.

First- The Black album was kick ass. Load was pretty damn good, Reload wasn't as good, but it was still alright. St. Anger was pretty horrible, it sounded like there was no thought or talent put into it. Lars is a whiny bitch, and should have never made an ass of himself by taking on Napster, it totaly ruined his "rock credentials" if you will. But they aren't really "has beens" because they truly are legends. Most rock you hear today was basically formed after and around Metallica's style. This is coming from a true music appreciater and musician.

If you dont like metallica because of the napster thing, you aren't really a fan.

And don't complain about their albums, you should be happy they have been making their magic for so long.

stfu whiners.

I LOVE their older stuff but St Anger and the Napster Fiasco stopped me from paying the big bucks for their last two Florida Concerts.

Hope they get back to the material that made them the huge success and leave the P2P companies ALONE.... most of us who enjoy their telents still BUY their music!

Metallica are icons, they still rock, even if they are a little older. They have always stuck to their guns, and did what they wanted to. On their worst day, they are 10x's better than the crap we hear on radio stations today. A majority of rap, pop, and hard rock out now lack two things Metallica have...talent and longevity. Good for them for speaking up against Napster, why should people be able to steal music without paying for it? How do you think they make a living? Touring and merch sales alone doesn't cut it. Now if you want to listen to some real crappy music by someone who doesn't even write his own songs,go listen to Daughtry
