You've got to feel sorry for this guy! His life is so pathetic! Isn't it enough that he has "chosen" to be gay but has to look like that too? Too sad! As for the machine? Let's hope it was a "fogger".

Old, they must have recycled it. Laughing because I'm a sound tech and didn't know what that was...By the way Boy George wasn't a one hit wonder in Europe. I thought he was gone and then lived in Europe for a while in the 90's and he was a pretty big time DJ.

I am happy to know that someone knew that a "crack oil machine" was an old type of fog machine for stage productions. I had to search for this info. I also thought of the fact that Boy George is from England, and some of their terms and words do not have the same meaning as they do in the USA. I felt that the word "crack" could very well have a different meaning than the street drug of the same name.

Crack Oil Machine is a smoke machine that uses an oil based product to produce a "fog" for the stage. the oil smoke stays in place better than the newer water based smoke machines. crack (also called cracker) smoke machines are pretty had to get these days, it is an old school device that at least in the film industry is not illegal to use indoors.
