    Outrageous Concert Riders: No. 8

"No trees please! We want plants that are just as full on the bottom as the top such as bamboo, peace lilies, etc. No tree trunks!" --Paul McCartney

Dendrophobia is no laughing matter, folks. Unless it's implied in a rock icon's tour rider. Along with a penchant for sissy plants with pretty white petals.

sir paul. john lennon and paul mccartney, were the greatest of all time. this man deserves all the respect we can give him. i felt really bad for paul, going through that bitter divorce, from that golddigging *****. i read an article in the new york post, and according to the article, heather mills has always been an opportunist, she modeled topless, and was a high priced hooker for the rich oil sheiks. she was arrested from stealing jewelry from her employer. how did he get tied up with this thing. she calls her a fundraiser for charities. if the truth were known, any monies that were raised, very well could have gone right in her pocket. long live paul mccartney.

You have to feel sorry for the guy! His life seemed to take a dive after his first wife died. He made a bad choice in the second wife. I don't understand about the "tree" thing! What's with that?? Wierd!!! I grew up with his music and loved it!

I will demand pop culture history be taught in schools if some kid comes here and calls Sir Paul an old fart.

That's right, "NO"; I repeat "No tree trunks" (sic). They tend to remind Sir Paul of one of his ex-wife's legs.
