The Rentals Return With a Little 'Tenderness'

Weezer's Matt Sharp and his band the Rentals visited our New York Interface studio with a trailer full of gear in tow, ready to play tunes off their new album, 'The Last Little Life.' The performance, following a lengthy hiatus, defiantly solidified one matter of fact: the Rentals have returned.

After a dazzling set, Sharp sat down with to discuss the Rentals return, as well as an impromptu reunion with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. "It was a good experience," Sharp told Spinner. "It was really emotional."
