Devendra Banhart Makes Mixed Tape for Lindsay Lohan

What do eccentric folk singers and embattled starlets have in common? Fleetwood Mac, of course.

Singer Devendra Banhart reportedly made Lindsay Lohan a mix CD to help her cope with her pampered difficult time at the Sundance rehab center in Utah. "I made two mix CDs for her," Banhart told NME. "She totally dug them. We ended up talking about Fleetwood Mac, who we're both obsessed with."

The Venezuela-raised musician also cited Nico, Vashti Bunyan, Captain Beefheart, Caetano Velso and Joanna Newsom as artists who made it on the special edition substance abuse compilation for his buddy, whom he met when the two interviewed one another for Interview magazine last year. In that article, Banhart called her Lohan's skin "sparkly," and she called him a "bell-bottomed beacon in music's sea of assembly-line blandness."

Yeah, we don't know, either.
