Elliott Smith's Girlfriend Cut From Will

Jenna Chiba, girlfriend of late singer-songwriter Elliott Smith, will not be awarded any of the folk rocker's estate, it was decided in court on Tuesday.

Chiba, thought by conspiracy theorists to have been involved in the stabbing death of the musician, alleged that Smith had promised to support her for the rest of her life. Chiba sued for a portion of his estate because she claimed that they, as a couple, presented themselves to the public as husband and wife. Unfortunately for Chiba, her involvement in his music career --specifically, acting as an unlicensed talent agent -- cost her. Elliott Smith was only one of the most influencial fucking greatest songwriters in the world. It's a shame all of you morons have no clue who he was. What the fuck is wrong with the world today? Who gives a shit about his popularity you asshole. He died in 2003, i became a fan in 2006 after hearing his music and a simple look around the internet reveals each year since his passing he gains a new legion of fans due to his quality music not stupid marketing ploys that you probably fall victim too from record labels.

We get it, Michael C. You're a pretentious guy who needs to tell everyone about his Masters Degree and NPR addiction. Great. But, uh, there are probably very many "GREATS" of whom you have never heard; you see, you are not all-knowing. Unless you're God...but I'm pretty sure God would at least have a PhD.

Elliott Smith was one of the greatest voices I have ever heard. I didn't have any idea who he was when I went to a concert & he was one of the performers. He out shined the lead group (whoever they were......he was so good I don't even remember who I went to see in the 1st place). The day he died we were all made a little poorer.
If you have not heard of Elliott Smith, go to the music store & listen to a track or 2. You will be surprised you had not heard of him before.
