    Craziest Costumed Acts: No. 1

    GWAR

Self-described "giant mutant metal monsters from outer space," these shock rockers paint a frighteningly accurate picture of their elaborate foam-rubber costumes and utterly depraved philosophy. Beavis and Butt-head and the band's tribe of loyal servants (called "Slaves" or "Gwarriors") know albums like 'Scumdogs of the Universe' and 'Diarrhea of a Madman' by heart, but it's the band's dress-up shtick that has totally eclipsed the music itself. We hardly think they care.

its not a list of how good they are. and GWAR is the number one costum performance. you may like the leather pant wearing kiss... but eh. their time has came and gone. its oalmost 2010 not 1980. while they are good, not the top costume performance of this time. iam suprised ICP actually made it on the list. With society throwing them down and what not. id be thinking they would try to stay away from showing them. but all the more. id like to see them at little billys birthday party :)

manson should be top 10 if you have ever been to a show.
Mushroomhead, Rob Zombie, Maynard James Keenan(from Tool - pure and simple GOD...music is great and he wears random "crazy costumes", avoids the spotlight the whole time on stage), Rammstein (fire breathing costumes dont count?) american head charge, and Phreak Show all need to be on a real list...

some band that wears an eye ball ... now there is a costume that is out of control.

and bands like manson, mushroomhead, slipknot, Rob Zombie and Tool have all been around for more than 10 years (close enough for slipknot)and are still selling out concerts and making great music.

I agree. As much as I love The Danielson Famile, I think they stole the Aquabats place. I would have expected at least an honorable mention. I mean not just the uniforms, but the scores of characters and battles on stage should earn them something, I don't think The Village people ever battled Space Monster M and the Sandfleas all at the same time.

GWAR kicks ass... but barely anybody knows who the fuck they are, whoever made this is downright mentally handicapped and unaware of any kind of musical history present or past.
