The Finnish metal band's schtick is one part monster, two parts ghoul, and attending one of their concerts is like being an extra in a horror film. They've gotten grief for their resemblance to GWAR, but frontman Mr. Lordi claims he hadn't heard of them while he was forming his own gory group. Guitarist Amen said of the GWAR comparison, "I don't know their music so well, but I think they look cool! I guess they must be distant family members for us."
