It was only a matter of time before Sean Kingston's smash song 'Beautiful Girls' underwent a makeover -- ironic or not. Enter the Dear Hunter, a Boston-based experimental rock group fronted and conceptualized by Casey Crescenzo. Although the Dear Hunter's sound is often rich with aggressive guitars and primal vocals, the multi-instrumentalist has a flair for formidable lyrics and melody, which makes this cover ever-so-apropos.
"I love doo-wop, straight up," the dry-witted 23-year-old tells Spinner. "That and I was hoping to make some sweet coin."
