'Heroes' Actress Rumored to Play Punk Legend



We can remember spending the months leading up to our 18th birthday thinking about all the things we'd be able to do once that magical day arrived, but, oddly enough, our list didn't include slathering our nipples in shaving cream and planting explosives beneath motor vehicles. Apparently, 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere has a different set of priorities, since she just marked her newly-legal status by -- according to rumors -- signing on to portray punk legend Wendy O. Williams in an upcoming biopic that will cover the late singer's traumatic teen years, her rise to fame (or, to the prudish, infamy) as frontwoman of the Plasmatics and her eventual suicide.

We aren't certain that the fresh-scrubbed Panettiere would be our first choice for the role -- for some reason, we had trouble associating her with the words "public indecency" -- but our sentimental side would like to transfer her 'Heroes' character's indestructibility to Wendy O. Our contrarian side, on the other hand, can't wait to see her wielding a chainsaw.

Sorry, no one cared about Wendy O when she was alive. That contributed to her killing herself. The young generation don't know who the hell she was, so who is going to bother to watch this movie?

Hayden Panetierre is the finest piece of ass to become legal since Natalie Portman.
Wendy O. Williams was an ape-faced freak.
She was the 80's version of Courtney Love.....except MUCH less attractive.
I remember seeing her "train wreck" performance on the 80's SNL ripoff "Fridays"(which was awesome BTW) and I was just about made sick. Nice bod, but, JESUS.....what a mess. And I was a pre-teen boy with raging hormones at the time.
I wish she wouldn't do it. I wish she'd take the example of Natalie Portman.

SHE'S A VERY GOOD ACTRESS, HOPE SHE CAN PULL IT OFF. I THINK MY PIC TO PLAY WENDY WOULD BE..PINK.., SHE'S GOT A KILLER VOICE AND BODY TO GO WITH IT. AND DEF. THE ADDITUDE. BUT I'M JUST A PINK FAN ANYWAY. SO OF COURSE I THINK SHE WOULD BE PERFECT!!!!
