Amusement Park Draws Inspired by 'Satin'

When we think of pure, unrestrained excitement, two words invariably come to mind -- "Moody Blues." As such, we're thrilled to hear that the folks behind South Carolina's Hard Rock Park -- the amusement park that seems to be designed to lure the AARP set into situations that can't be good for the blood pressure -- have commissioned a ride based on the band's 'Nights in White Satin.'

The park's keepers have released some details about the ride -- including tales of "a dream-like entranceway, complete with interactive displays leading to a swirling walk-through vortex" -- all of which make about as much sense to us as the lyrics to the original song. Now if they'd decided to use 'Ride My See-Saw,' we might get in line for an E-ticket.
