Tired of people name-dropping rock genres and not having a clue what they're talking about? We sure are, so we put together the first in an ongoing series of edumacational, one-minute videos that'll drop a knowledge bomb on all unsuspecting ignoramuses. The first out of the gate is the much-maligned Emo, a genre that arguably jumped the shark almost a decade ago, yet continues to lurch onward like a zombie. You know, a zombie that whines like a bitch and wears its little sister's pants.

To this genna person, reread the first sentence where it talks about people not knowing what the hell theyre talking about. He can't play a guitar for shit, a man with some of the tips of his fingers cut off (true rockers know him) can do a better job at a guitar than he could. Listen to actual music, instead of making love to your emo fantasy man poster who are 30 and love the slicer.

ok, yes, we all know pete is cute. get over it. pretty much all of you 12 to 14 year old teeny boppers who think the music you listen to is good are probably still listening to the 'from under the cork tree' album from several years ago and or know only the chorus from 'this aint a scene' are not aware that fall out boys does indeed have 5 albums, not just 2, as you most likely think. so basically all i'm saying is like pete for his musical talent, and not his tight pants and guyliner. and stop thinking you're the shit for liking fall out boy.

Finally, someone names emo bands that ARE in fact, emo. Fugazi, Jawbreaker, Texas is the Reason...I've enjoyed all these guys for years. It's sad to see the new definition of emo, but I really liked the video. It made me laugh...and go listen to the Get Up Kids.
