This time the Brooklyn soultress gets remixed by Cool Calm Pete, from the neighboring New York City borough of Queens. Pete puts a trip-hop spin of the track along with some cooled-out Mos Def-esque verses, while maintaining the soulful integrity that the Dap-Kings conceived.
