We are down to the final two tracks in the Daptone Records remix series, as well as the final installment from Sharon Jones. New York's jazz-influenced electro-hop DJ Spinna takes Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings' 'My Man Is a Mean Man' on a wild ride combining elements of nu-jazz and even drum 'n' bass, while maintaining the aggressive yet soulful style of the original. Keep reading to snag the MP3 of Spinna's remix and listen to the original.

Any idea how to actually get a hard copy of this cd compilation? I can't seem to find where it's actually going to be available.

thanks heaps for putting these tunes up - they are absolute killer! Have tried tracking down the cd, but its only available thru Scion car dealerships and at Scion events. Which is fine if you live in a major American city, I guess. Anyways, cheers, Spinner. Thanks for sharing. And respect to Daptone and the remixers. Can't wait to see Ms Jones and the Dapkings in New Zealand next year!

What you wrote about sounds as worth listening. I like jazz and various experiments with this music style. Looking forward to listening to it)
