Los Angeles, 1977: Many of the people in my pictures are quite good friends of mine from my musician days, but these guys I didn't really know very well, and I don't actually remember sort of why I was here. This was a motel on Sunset Boulevard, and you can see in Debbie [Harry]'s waist there is a little orange motel key. There was these bamboo palms in the parking lot, and we just did a couple of quick pictures and I don't even remember why. It wasn't for an album or anything in particular; I might have just been there with a friend. I don't know what the heck it was for; I don't know what it was used for or what I was even doing there. I'm glad I was there, though.
