PhotoSynthesis: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

Los Angeles, 1969: The guy on the left is Dallas Taylor; he was the drummer. The second guy from the left is Bruce Palmer; he was the bass player in the Buffalo Springfield, and he was going to be the bass player for CSNY, but at the last minute there was some kind of a problem with his working papers -- he was Canadian. But before they knew that, we were out trying to take some publicity pictures. All of these guys had been urged to dress up, and I think David [Crosby] had gone to a costume place and gotten an old admiral's outfit or something, and Graham Nash had a Chicken Delight tie on. And the funny thing is David is tweaking Stephen [Stills] with the bunny ears, and there's a big satisfied grin on his face thinking he's putting one over on Steven, and meanwhile Graham [Nash] is doing to same thing to him, and there's Neil [Young] kind of taking the whole thing in.

I am sitting here looking at these amazing pictures and I am right back there. I forgot everything around me. I am just there! Thank you for the time travel. I need that.
