White Stripes Reveal Secret 'Special Collaboration,' More

After posting an announcement on their Web site earlier this month that promised fans both new tunes and a new music video, the White Stripes have now revealed the details behind their recent projects, including the name of that mystery collaborator: Beck. While news that multi-talented singer-songwriter is the secret guest is no doubt intriguing, the news that Jack had been training with bullfighters for the new video clearly holds trump.

Directed by Dianne Martel (R.E.M.'s 'Shiny Happy People'), the upcoming video for the band's third single off this year's 'Icky Thump,' 'Conquest,' "follows an explosive -- if unconventional -- love story that pits man against bull in the ultimate conquest." And for added realism, Jack turned to famed bullfighter Dennis Borba to learn some sweet matador moves. We can't wait to see this.

But back to Beck. The Los Angeles musician co-produced the Detroit duo's three new tracks, which were inspired by the new 'Conquest' video, in the comfort of his own living room. He also added his vocal and piano stylings to It's My Fault for Being Famous' and his slide guitar skills to 'Honey, We Can't Afford to Look This Cheap.'

The new video will premiere on Nov. 26th and the will be available for download on iTunes the following day.
